Google Shopping For Shopify Stores
With all of the changes going on with Facebook Ads a lot of Shopify Stores have struggled to figure out where their sales are coming from since the ios14 changes.
Because of that many stores that are running ads are turning ads off that are working because the tracking and attribution is just not as accurate anymore (this hurts your profitablity big time)
But there is another platform that you can use to get pretty good results with your Shopify Store.
Google Shopping can give you great results if all of your products, urls, descriptions are organized and in depth.
The way Google Shopping works is you can put your products all over the internet where buyers are actually shopping versus social media marketing is interruption based.
The reason why this subtle difference is important is there is less competition for ad space (because not all advertisers are trying to show up on the newsfeed) which drops your ad costs which helps you with creating profitable ads.
Below is a screenshot of one of our Shopify T-shirt clients and the results that you can get if you have everything set up correctly.
As you can see in the image the cost per conversions are coming in at $9.65 per purchase and over 80% of the purchases are new first time buyers.
(We ran the report inside of Shopify to verify this)
So the moral of the story is you don’t have to completley ditch Facebook ads to grow your business but you should be testing out Google Shopping Ads to see if it’s a good fit because you always want to diversify and not overly rely on one channel because if that channel goes down your business will also.
